Weekend Update

By Bill C

Great fishing this weekend on both all day boats and 1/2 day fishing. There was a steady bite of both cod and haddock. The Patriot saw a steady pick of fish both days. The Clipper pulling double duty on Saturday and Sunday had great fishing on the anchor. Alot of nice cod and haddock. Both afternoon 1/2 day trips were the best we have seen all season. Some nice size pollock were caught.

Sunday the Clipper boated a 41lb (Torpedo Nobiliana) Atlantic Torpedo Ray.  No one here can ever remember seeing one before.240px-atlantic_torpedo__torpedo_nobiliana_

Fridays fishing

By Bill C

Fishing was about average on Friday. There was a slow haddock bite but no real flurry of excitment. everyone seemed to pick a few haddock, mostly on bait. I saw a lot of fishing talent on the boat today. Lets see how they make out.

Half day yesterday was pretty hot. Some nice haddock and big redfish were landed. Come on up for the weekend and drop a line

Thursdays 5-5

By Bill C

Fishing was great on Super Thursday. Capt.Josh filled up alot of coolers. Cod, haddock, and pollock mix. There were even some cusk tossed in as well. Lot of heavy coolers came over the rail. Bait and jig are both doing well.

Half day fishing has been good if we can avoid the endagered Dog fish . For those who can keep their bait on the bottom, fishing is good. Don’t forget to make a reservation if yo plan on coming up to fish. Don’t get stuck on the dock.

Sunday/ Overnight trip

By Bill C

The Yankee Clipper, with Capt. Smitty onboard had a great day Sunday. Some nice cod were landed as well as a bunch of haddock. looked like everyone had fish getting off the boat.

Capt. Dave put together another great fishing trip on the overnight fishing trip. He hit the Haddock  jackpot. They were also able to boat some real nice cod. Bait and jigs both worked well. Come on up and give one of these trips a try.

Overnight Trip June 21/ all day June 22

By Bill C

Another very successful Overnight trip was put together by Capt. Dave. More cod than haddock was caught both on bait and jigs. they stayed one step away from the dog fish which are starting to show up a little more each day. our overnight trips leave every Sunday night at 10pm. Give us a call to make a reservation. 800-942-5464

Captain Kirk took out the Yankee Clipper today for our Limited Capacity trip. He was on top of the fish all day . Another good trip. Remember if you are coming up to go 1/2 day fishing this weekend. Parking will be limited because of the St. Peters Fiesta. Call for parking suggestions. It won’t have any impact on all day fishing.

busy weekend

By Bill C

We were certainly running this past weekend. Half day fishing started with a bang . Quite a few haddock and some cod. Capt Dave was running from the dog fish. They are starting to show up a little more each week. The all day fishing is still going strong.

If you are planning to come up and go 1/2 day fishing this weekend . Remember it is Saint Peter’s Fiesta time. It means more traffic and less parking. Leave yourself some extra time to get to the boat. There will be a parking shuttle leaving from Stagefort park. Give us a call for parking suggestions.
