Tuesday, May 31st - Fish Report

Capt. Josh and the Yankee Clipper headed out for another great day of fishing!  Nice drifting conditions led to a steady pick of cod and haddock throughout the day.   They had a really good mid day bite.

We will be heading out again on Wednesday, June 1st, 7am-4pm.  Reservations are available and can be made online at www.yankeefleet.com or our office will open at 5:30am.

NEXT - Overnight Trip - June 5 & 6 - 20% Discount

Yankee Fleet had great success on our last overnight trip that went out over Memorial Day weekend.   The trip had a great bite during the whole trip.  One thing that stood out on this trip from previous overnights was the successful late night bite.

We have our next overnight trip departing on Sunday, June 5th.  Originally scheduled to depart at 10pm.  Capt. Tom wants to depart a little earlier at 8pm.  This will allow us to get out there earlier in hopes for another good night bite.

JUNE UPDATE: Flounder Trips Begin!

Yankee Fleet will begin their NEW 2011 Flounder Trips.  Due to start on Thursday, June 2nd.  These trips are 3 1/2 hour inshore fishing trips targeting mostly flounder although, mackeral and other species could also be in the mix.

We use much lighter tackle on these trips compared to our deep sea fishing trips.  A good trip for a beginner!

Monday, May 30th - Fish Report`

Capt. Josh and the Yankee Clipper had a good day and steady pick out there.  Conditions for drifting were beautiful in the morning and by afternoon they set the anchor and got into some nice size cod fish.

Capt. Kirk and the Yankee Patriot also had a good day out there.  Some anglers did much better than others and they anchored for a good part of the day.  Largest cod was and 18 pounder!!

Limited Capacity Tuesday will leave the dock at 7am tomorrow.  Reservations are strongly suggested!

Super Thursday’s 5am-5pm is also available this week as well as our full day trips Wed., Fri., and the upcoming weekend.

Sunday, May 29th - Fish Reports!!

Capt. Josh and the Yankee Clipper headed out this morning at 6am for what was a steady, consistant day of cod and haddock fishing.  Capt. Josh reported nice size cod ranging 5-12 pounds each.

Capt. Kirk and the Yankee Patriot headed our right after at 7am.  Although fishing in the same areas their day was more of a slow pick throughout the day.  Cod and haddock was the majority of their catch.

Capt. Dave and the Yankee Freedom headed back in this afternoon from its most successful Double Dip Weekend Overnight of the season.  Fishing was fantastic.  Mostly cod and haddock, they were able to get some nice bite even through the night.

We will be sailing Memorial Day Monday, 7am-4pm.  Reservations can be made online at www.yankeefleet.com or our office will open at 5:30am.

Overnight trips will now continue June through October departing Sunday nights at 10pm and returning Monday evenings around 7pm.  Call now to reserve your spots!

Saturday, May 28th - Very Good Fishing!

The Yankee Clipper, Capt. Josh and crew headed out on Saturday morning.  Everyone did well in catching fish yesturday.  With a steady pick all day long, dift and anchoring, they saw a good mix of cod, haddock and pollock.

Trips are sailing everyday!  Make sure to call ahead and reserve on book online at www.yankeefleet.com.

Overnight Trips are also available.  Starting June 4th & 5th we will begin our Sunday 10pm departure overnights returning Monday evenings at 7pm.  Call to book your spot today!

Friday, May 27th - Great Fishing!!

The boats had a great day out there fishing pretty deep we saw nice size cod, haddock and pollock.  Sizes averaged 8-10 lbs. with a 20lb. pollock on the Yankee Patriot and a 17 1/2 lb. cod on the Yankee Clipper.  The boats drifted all day long with a great mid day bite! 

Saturday we will be running all day trips 7am-4pm and half day fishing 8-12:30.  Our Double Dip Overnight will also be departing at 3pm.  Space is available and our office will open an 5:30am.

Sunday we will be running all day fishing 6am-3pm and 7am-4pm.  Monday all day fishing will be running 7am-4pm.

Thursday, May 27th - Fish Report

Yankee Patriot headed out this morning for a successful morning bite of cod, haddock and pollock.  The bite was a consitant pick all day.

Yankee Clipper also headed out there and had a great day as well!  Mix of cod, haddock and pollock were also caught.

Trips are sailing for Friday, May 27th, 7am-4pm.  Space is available and can still be made online at www.yankeefleet.com or our office will open at 5:30am.

Weekend trips such as our all day 6-3, 7-4 and Double Dip Overnight all have availability.  Make sure to call ahead or reserve online!

Wednesday, May 25th - Fish Report

The Yankee Patriot headed out today.  Some anglers had a better day at it than others.  The weather was beautiful and the fishing a slow pick.

Monday & Tuesday 5/23 + 24 - Fish Report

Monday’s trip headed out aboard the Yankee Clipper.  We had a nice pick throughout the day of cod, haddock and a 17lb. pollock to home the pool!

Tuesday the Yankee Clipper headed out on the open boat with an end of the day report of good fishing, mostly cod, haddock and pollock.   The Yankee Patriot had a private charter that also went out.  Their day was not as productive but the group had a great time!

Trips are running all week and weather updates look good.  Space is available for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 25, 7am-4pm.  You can still reserve online at www.yankeefleet.com or our office will open at 5:30am.

We are also running our Double Dip Weekend overnight this coming Saturday and Sunday.  A 30% discount is available to all new reservations that book on or after 5/24.
