Thursday, May 12th - Weather and Fish Updates!

By Office Staff

Rough wind and sea conditions have been holding us back from sailing this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  We are scheduled to sail tomorrow Friday, 7am-4pm trip.   Reservations are available and can be made online at www.yankeefleet.com or by calling 800-942-5464.

Reporting on our most recent fishing trips, which ran this past week and weekend, most of the trips did very well.  The Yankee Clipper, Yankee Patriot and Yankee Freedom sailed consistantly all week and into the weekend.  There was a lot of action Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  With some throw backs in the mix there was a steady catch of keeper cod, haddock and pollock.  Overall the fishing was great!

The Double Dip Overnight set out to try areas a bit further out than the all day boats.  Despite some rough conditions Saturday into Sunday the catch was spotty.

Overall we hope once this wind dies down and seas return to normal the fish will be hungry.  Remember to call ahead!

We hope to see you aboard!
