Thursday/ Friday fishing

By Bill C

Thursdays marathon put a bunch of fish on the boat. Fair mix of cod and haddock with a few pollock thrown in for good measure. Fridays trip wasn’t nearly as successful as thursday. It was a very slow day, The fish were there but they weren’t biting.

Half day fishing had a steady pick of haddock and redfish and avoided the dogfish.

Great Wednesday

By Bill C

100_0411A great day of fish was had by the all day boat and the half day boat. Capt. Kirk put the Yankee Clipper on top of the fish for most of the day . A steady bite was going all day. Good mix of cod haddock and pollock.

Capt. Dave put the Yankee Freedom on the fish as well. A couple big cod and even sone nice haddock. He managed to stay away from the dogfish too. Here is a photo of one of those nice cod caught on the half day trip 8/11/10

Saturday , Sunday, Monday fishing

By Bill C

Fishing continues to be very good. The Clipper, Patriot and Freedom all reported a very good fishing. A great mix of both cod and haddock were caught . Bait seems to be working better than the jig. The dog fish have thinned out making the fishing more enjoyable. Come on up and fish with us!!!

Weekend fishing

By Bill C

Fishing over the weekend was pretty good. Tough fighting the new moon tides. A good mix of both cod and haddock, with a few pollock and cusk thrown in for good measure. There hasn’t been any shortage of tuna watching either. Great fishing, great weather. come on up and go fishing.
