Fish Friday
Boat just docked. Another very successful day on the high seas. Haddock, cod and pollock all gave up to the hooks today. Bait again, a few on the jigs. Beautiful weekend coming up. Come on up and play.

After a Marathon of rain and wind from Monday to Wednesday, we had no idea how the fishing would be affected. Turns out that if anything, it improved the fishing. A great day of 18 to 24lb cod. Some nice haddock with shoulders and the continued 20lb range pollock . Most of which were still being caught on bait.
1/2 day was a little slower than usual. A few cod were all we were able to muster onto the boat. We have room on our overnight fishing trip leaving on Sunday night. Give it a try !

Seems like the only thing we have been able to catch since Sunday, is wind and rain. Thursday is looking good!

Capt. Kirk just got off the phone with me. Told me he slammed the fish today. The cod and haddock were big fat ones. Easy an 8lb average on the haddock. He also had a great pollock bite atleast 50 fish in the 18-20 lb range. The cod were just a little over keeper size but on the heavy side.
Looks like the wind is going to get us the next couple days. Stand by for my next report.

Hey Gang, Three boats out fishing today. The Clipper was out at 6am. They had a good good morning bite and put quite a good mix onto the boat. Slowed to a pick in the afternoon.
The Patriot was out at 7am . Fishing wasn’t fast and furious today. Different area and slower bite. After a great season of fishing, we think the fishing seems slow but there were some nice bags of fish coming off the boat.
There was a bunch of nice haddock caught on the morning 1/2 day everyone avoided the dog’s again.

Just got off the phone with Capt.Kirk. Great fishing again today. Some slammer pollock, and an even amount of cod and haddock. Still mostly all on bait. He even said Good ole’ George was in a good mood today !! WOW
Some nice bags of haddock came off the 1/2 day this morning. Both Capts. Nino and Kirk reported very few dogfish. Lets hope they got lost.

As we were hoping the fishing on todays marathon was pretty good . Some nice cod, haddock, and happy people made it a good trip. They also managed to pick up a nice sow hake in the 35 lb range. Come on up and fish on the weekend . Some space is still available. As always reservations are suggested. Don’t get stuck at the dock !!!
