Slow Day
The Yankee Patriot went out yesterday. The bite was slower than it has been. Plenty of fish marking but they just didn’t want to jump on the hooks. I guess thats why they call it fishing and not catching!!!

Hi Captain Kirk,
I keep on reading about these great trips with you at the helm. When I come up (e.g., 17 June), we have slow days. That will not stop me. I know a conspiracy when I see one. Or maybe I am the modern Jonah and curse the trips when I board?
So, I shall be fishing on 15 & 16 July, the overnighter on 1-2 August, and either 4 or 5 August. Since we have the place in Gl now, you can expect me in mid-August and early September.
Fall plans depend on teaching and days off, but I shall never be out of your mind. Ha, ha!
