I know not everyone can make it for this fishing trip. But you can still make a donation, by calling us at 855-5GO-FISH. Just tell the reservation staff your calling to make a donation. Thank you.

Sunday report

By Bill C

A very good day all around at Yankee Fleet. The Yankee Freedom headed to Fippenies on Saturday night. With Capt. Zappa at the wheel.  After a very bumpy ride out, we settled in to fish around 3am. fishing started out as a slow pick. We didn’t have to wait long before the bite started. At the first sign of daylight it was fast and furious for 3-4 hours. Cod, pollock, and haddock coming over the rail all over the boat. Even when the bite finally slowed down. It was a constant pick the rest of the day. A great trip. With some very nice people.

The Yankee Clipper with Capt. Tom Lukegord at the wheel, headed a more southerly direction than we have been fishing. They also had a very good day after a little exploring, Plenty of cod, and haddock for everyone.

The Yankee Patriot, headed out with Capt. Johnny. He has been very consistent in taking the old girl and putting her on fish. And yesterday was no different. We sure had a great weekend.

Fantastic day aboard the Yankee Clipper. Capt. Pete kept the gang on the fish all day. lots of cod were caught. Some folks were even throwing the the smaller leagal size fish back for for bigger fish. There were some nice haddock caught too. Lots of throw backs. Just an inch too short.

Capt. Johnny took the Patriot out this morning. They also had a pretty good day. They had a stedy pick all day. They too had alot of just short haddock. All in all it was a very good day.

Friday report

By Bill C

All three boats were out today. Charters on the Clipper and Freedom. The Patriot had the open boat. The same results were had by all three boats. Each stop produced a good bite for the first 15 minutes. Then it would slow down. There was a little better than a slow pick all day. The end result was pretty good but not great. There was a great sign of fish, but they just didn’t want to feed.
