Meet the Captain and Crew
Office Staff:
Teresa Leaman
- Began in reservations in 1991 and even earlier in the Yankee Tackle Shop with her dad Uncle Tom. She grew up with the Yankee Fleet and everyone that came and went and came back again! She enjoys her job the customers and employees/friends she has made over the years. She has a beautiful family with a new baby on the way in August 2011!
Kristin Lumia Earl
- Began in reservationis in 2003. She met her husband Matt Earl at Yankee Fleet and has two beautiful children. She makes the move from Gloucester to Key West every season and on top of that just became a teacher. She enjoys the work, the people and the summers in Gloucester!
Jenna Greenleaf
- Got her first job at 14yrs old working in the Yankee Tackle Shop. She continued that for a few summers and then after a break she came back to do reservations! She loves the "Gloucesta" atmosphere around the YF, "always feels like home." Her dad John Greenleaf worked at Yankee Fleet as a Captain for 9 years so it was in her blood to do the same!
Katie Walsh
- Although she started only in the fall of 2010 it's like she's been part of the Fleet her whole life. Katie keeps everyone on thier toes and a smile on their faces. She has spent a lot of time on the water either fishing or basking in the sun. She knows her stuff!
Amanda Webb
- Began at YF in the summer of 2010. She is a recent graduate of Umass Amherst. Amanda enjoys the outdoors, the beach and hanging out with friends. She will continue thru the summer at Yankee Fleet.
Joanne Morozov
- A newbie to our 2011 staff! She volunteered for the Stage Fort Visitor Center in 2010 and has been a local all her life. She has many stories and creates good conversation amongst the customers. She loves to ask questions, which is how she'll get to know you!
Joan Larsen
- Started work for Yankee Tackle in 1992. She was and is the life of Yankee Tackle. She was trained well by Uncle Tom and makes sure everyone stays in line. You never know what Joan will do or say next and she always offers constructive criticism.
Operations Manager
Bill Campbell
- Started part time at Yankee Fleet in 1990 as a mate. Soon after he became the galley manager and from there because he was liked by so many and organized in his way of doing things became the official YF Operations Manager in 1996 to present.
Crew
Ross Clayton
- Has been a mate on party boats for 11 years. Seven of which have been at Yankee Fleet. He has worked on all boats and all types of trips, mostly all day fishing.
Born and raised in Gloucester, his father being a partyboat captain and commercial fisherman his whole life. He is currently a senior at the University of Rhode Island double majoring in Fisheries Technology and Biology.
George Cabral
- The longest standing mate at Yankee Fleet. He started when the YF started as Jerry Hill's right hand man/mate! Everyone knows George and George knows everyone. He has probably the most longest track record with YF, to long to mention. Key parts about George are his nicknames one being Bumpy. He is also well know for his "Horses Ass Award, which many of you reading this may have been contestants or runner up for. His sense of humor should only be taken as humor and never serious. Many of the regulars that came and still come to Yankee Fleet come back to catch fish and see George.
Josh Driggers
- Started with Yankee Fleet in 2011. He moved from Orange County, California where he was a deckhand for 16 years. He enjoys fishing and works his hardest to make sure customers have fun and catch fish!
John Hausle
- Worked for Yankee Fleet in 2004 then left and is back for our 2011 season. He loves the water and is great with the customers. He hopes to stay in Gloucester for the time being.
Chef Brian Burke - Started with Yankee Fleet 3 years ago. He runs the galley on the Yankee Clipper most often. He's a great, friendly guys and makes good food.

Kirk Hoysradt
- Started serving hot dogs on the Yankee Patriot working with his Uncle Phil at the age 14 as a striker. He has been working for the Fleet most of his life. Now a Captain aboard the Yankee Patriot and Yankee Clipper for 3 years. Kirk has also worked on tugboats, commercial fishing and also a carpenter on the side. His hobbies are boating, beaching, skiing and family. Fun Fact Kirk is allergic to fish!

Capt. Thomas Orrell
- Started working at Yankee Fleet in 1979. Graduated from college in 1980 and received his Capt.'s License in 1982 and ran every kind of trip from Gloucester to Key West. Became operations manager in 1991 and in 2008 purchased the company. He has a beautiful wife and four beautiful daughters. He'll tell you "his wife gets seasick and that's why he married her!"
